If I do not use this, I get the error #508, so I guess the wrong config is referenced in the getting started guide.
I'm using this package @intlify/eslint-plugin-vue-i18n in version 3.2.0.
Maybe good to note in addition: I'm not using eslint-plugin-vue, because I want to use some of your linting things in a React environment. Specially your support of tsx files, and the extensive list of rules that are available, brought me to this idea.
Merging this PR will not cause a version bump for any packages. If these changes should not result in a new version, you're good to go. If these changes should result in a version bump, you need to add a changeset.

Oh, we're working on v4 and the current guide is for the upcoming v4.
So for now we might need to document how to configure it for v3 and v4.
Can you do that?
@ota-meshi Is it fine if I just add a note for those who want to try out the new version 4? I'd not put it as part of the base example, as I'd rather keep it to the latest stable version.
Thanks for the change.
However, all current documentation is written for v4, so rather than writing only a portion of it for v3, I think it makes more sense to explain the configuration for v4 and then direct you to the documentation for v3. https://github.com/intlify/eslint-plugin-vue-i18n/blob/v3.2.0/docs/started.md
