The layout of both structs cannot be optimized by the compiler as this is
exported as a binary blob into sysfs using memcpy.

This fixes updating the firwmare using fwupd.

* Fix I2C read error for fw supporting protocol 1.0 (#112)

protocol 1.0 doesn't recongnize few commands added with
2.0 and results in i2C read error while reading device responses
for those commands.

This patch fixes the issue by sending known command for both
protocol versions and avoids sending the new command for
1.0
