FYI: Anthropic is changing the pricing model for programmatic usage

Just a heads up in case you missed it: Anthropic announced that starting June 15, Claude subscriptions will no longer support programmatic usage, including usage through the SDK.

Instead, each subscription will include API credits equal to the subscription price. Those credits will then be used at standard API pricing for programmatic usage. For example, a Pro subscription would include $20 in API credits per month.

That means, if I understood it right, opencode-with-claude would have to work with API Credits.
That's... huh. Unless there's a way to interact with Claude Code (or like Claude Code) from OpenCode that doesn't involve the SDK, we would be stuck with the API billing, right?

That's correct. This is a core issue with Meridian (rynfar/meridian#512) and any other plugin/tool harnessing the agent-sdk.

The only workable solution would be to somehow route requests through the claude code cli itself.
