How to open

• Click button on tool bar of editor of an opened focus tree file.
• When editing an opened event file, open command palette (Ctrl+Shift+P), type command Preview HOI4 File, and press enter to confirm.

Event tree view

• Hold button on blank and drag to move event tree view.
• Click a event or option to navigate to corresponding tag in file.
• Scroll mouse wheel to zoom the whole view.

In some cases events in current file may trigger/be triggered by other events. Or you may want event title or option title to be shown as localized value. You need to add reference in current file. Please refer to Reference custom sprite_type. Here's an example:

Scan references

There may be many references in an event file. It's hard to add all of them manually. So it's useful to automatically scan and fill all references. You can request a scan by:

• When editing an opened event file, open command palette (Ctrl+Shift+P), type command Scan references, and press enter to confirm.

After a few seconds. All references will be added to top of the event file.
