Decisionator

Stuck choosing between options? Decisionator picks one at random so you can move on.

Try it: https://decisionator.surge.sh/

What it does

Add the choices you are weighing (where to eat, what movie to watch, which task to tackle first) and let the app choose for you. It is meant for low-stakes decisions like picking dinner, weekend plans, a movie, or which small task to do next when you would rather not debate any longer.

How to use it

  1. Add your options: Type an option in the text box and click Add. Repeat until every choice is listed.
  2. Review your list: Your options appear as cards on the page. You need at least one before you can decide.
  3. Make a decision: Click Make Decision. The app randomly picks one option and shows it in a popup.
  4. Start over: Click Start Over to clear everything and begin a new list.

Tips

  • Add every option you care about before clicking Make Decision. The app only chooses from what you have entered.
  • Use short, clear labels so the result is easy to read in the popup (for example, "Thai food" instead of a long sentence).
  • Nothing is saved: If you refresh the page or click Start Over, your list disappears. Write down the winner if you need to remember it.
  • Same option twice? Entering the same text twice counts as two separate choices, so it can be picked twice as often.
