Rethinking the Recommender Research Ecosystem: Reproducibility, Openness, and LensKit, the paper introducing LensKit was published in RecSys 2011.

In that paper, we ran extensive evaluations of several algorithm families, replicating and comparing with prior studies. The scripts for that evaluation, along with R code to analyze the output and the LaTeX source for the paper and its plots, are available from our ​Mercurial repository.
