Releases: gnarlin/osget
Version 1.6 is here
I fixed some bugs and added 1 new feature.
--check or -c will test every URL in every oslist configuration file to see if the links are dead or alive.
This will help me and hopefully contributors with knowing what oslist entries need to be updated or fixed.
The update repository is back online. There's a lot of dead links in the oslist repository, but I intend to work on that soon.
A very annoying bug was fixed in which when users tried to download from an oslist entry that contained only dead links osget would get confused and freeze. Now it just tries every URL and then exits gracefully when no links work as it should.
I hope you'll try my little program. Please just keep in mind that the oslist repository still needs a great deal of cleaning up in. Feel free to help me do so.
Large update to oslist from a contributor
A welcome contribution to oslist from Jeremy Wakeman. Big thanks go to him.
Version 1.4
Minor updates to --update and --search to make them more robust. --update only overwrote existing files but didn't remove obsolete files. It now deletes everything before re-downloading everything from each repository in turn.
