npm install -g @charmland/crush fails on GitHub-hosted runners because npm's default global prefix points to /opt/hostedtoolcache/node/.../bin, which is EROFS (read-only). All crush-engine smoke tests were producing 0 turns and failing immediately.

Changes

  • crushNpmGlobalPrefix constant — single source of truth for ${RUNNER_TEMP}/npm-global, used across install and execution
  • buildCrushInstallStep — replaces the generic BuildStandardNpmEngineInstallSteps for Crush; sets NPM_CONFIG_PREFIX before the npm install -g so the binary lands in writable $RUNNER_TEMP:

    GitHub Actions expression versions are passed via ENGINE_VERSION env var (injection safety, consistent with other engines).
  • GetCrushNpmBinPathSetup — crush-specific PATH setup that prepends ${RUNNER_TEMP}/npm-global/bin before the standard hostedtoolcache scan; replaces the generic GetNpmBinPathSetup call in both the AWF (firewall) and non-firewall execution paths.
  • smoke-crush.lock.yml — recompiled to pick up the new install and execution steps.
