sigh, the documentation tester doesnt like the reference, can you find a way to modify it?

This citation also doesn't make sense: the doi is an egu abstract not an article without any way to download.

@cedrict would you mind suggesting a way to cite it?

@tjhei I thought I left a comment yesterday about this? Well in any case, a link to my website will suffice. Fieldstone is not published/edited anywhere. All I have is an EGU talk doi and an old link to a zenodo archve I believe.
Simply use https://cedrict.github.io/ then ?

Yes, over here: #6183

The problem is that your bibentry that you ask people to cite is invalid and I am wondering if you mind fixing it as well (and letting me know what you are going with):

  • an @article is needs information like a journal, etc.
  • the doi is for an EGU abstract that doesn't link to anything (maybe remove?)

Maybe you want to deposit a version on figshare.com ? That way you can get a DOI, archive the pdf (regularly for example), can add additional information like links to your webpage, etc.

@tjhei I will remove this from my own book(s). I am happy if ASPECT only links to my website. After all (the doi of) the EGU talk is inconsequential and fieldstone changes all the time, so I am not sure that uploading everymonth 500+ Mb of pdfs on figshare makes sense.

This is now good to go assuming @cedrict is happy with it.
