Agent Universe

Enterprise-grade agent builder factory. A composable framework for building governed AI agents with structured tool access, memory, and orchestration patterns.

Why This Exists

Every enterprise I've worked with hits the same wall with AI agents: teams spin up one-off agent implementations with inconsistent tool access, no governance, and no way to compose agents into larger workflows. Agent Universe is a factory pattern that solves this — define your agent's tools, memory, and guardrails declaratively, and the framework handles orchestration, lifecycle, and observability.

This started as a POC when I was designing the agentic maturity framework at Qualtrics, where we needed a standardized way to build agents that could progress from task-level to autonomous while maintaining enterprise governance.

Key Features

  • Factory pattern for agent construction — define agents declaratively, not imperatively
  • Structured tool access with permission scoping
  • Memory management across agent sessions
  • Composable orchestration — chain agents into multi-step workflows
  • Built-in governance — guardrails and audit trails for enterprise deployments
