make sure you have cargo installed for rust. then, clone the repo and cd into it. do cargo install --path . which will build it and add it to a path directory.
type chost <new hostname> to change your hostname. you will be asked for your sudo password, and it will be changed. to list your current hostname, type chost with no args.
