Why this change?

Because the couple Eslint and Prettier

  • Requires very high configuration
  • Walks on it with bad configurations
  • Requires a lot of packages to install
  • Requires some plugins in the IDE which sometimes do not work correctly together (Or are not correctly configured)
  • And many other faults

Why BiomeJS?

For the simple reason that it is an extremely fast all-in-one tool (Parser and Linter) written in rust and supported by a large community. It requires almost no initial configuration, neither for the project nor for its plugins integrated into the IDE.

This minor change avoids the installation of nearly 300 packages !
