This is a HackRPI 2019 Project! Myself and William He (hew7) are making a GAN using TensorFlow in order to make our own Security Now! podcast episode. Samad loves Security Now, and the namesake of the project is one of the hosts, Steve Gibson. Samad just thought adding GAN to his name is cool.
We are developing technologies because Will wanted to do a project and Samad wanted to use TensorFlow.
The following are used in the project:
- Python3
- TensorFlow
- Keras with TensorFlow Backend
- Google Cloud Platform's TPU
So, Will and I did our homework and volunteered at the event respectively instead of actually doing our project. We decided we'd do the project on our own time!
We spent A LOT of time researching, because this was a little harder than we thought it would be to get done in ~2 hours. Found some really nice resources, learned what Keras was, and found a lot of examples to go off of. Hooray!
