We will learn how to write Praat scripts from scratch. After finishing the tutorial, you will be able to write a script that can read and process word and phone intervals in the TextGrid and extract acoustic features such as F0, intensity, and formants from all the files in a directory. Besides, you will be able to read Praat scripts and adapt them to your purpose.

Rune the script by opening the praat scripting window- List any environment variables or configuration files needed.
