ENTSO-E publishes the Application Profiles Library for the first time on a git repository in its release 1.1.1. Previous, archived versions of the library and the format it had in the past can always be found on the ENTSO-E CGMES Library.

Release notes

Release 1.1 and 1.1.1 notes:

• The Application Profiles for the Network Code profiles release 2.4.0 were added.

  • The release 1.1.1 is introduced in order to fix serialisation errors which impacts CGMES SHACL constraints and NCP.
  • In the last Application library v1.1.0, in some of the SHACL files — in the TURTLE files — some namespaces were missing.
  • In the CGMES (grid model) part the problem was that in the 1st line there was @#Licensed instead of #Licensed. This was blocking the read the information.
  • Solving inconsistency in the use of dcterms ontology. More details on the release ReadMe.
  • Deletion of urn:uuid used in the header property dcterms:identifier. More details on the release ReadMe.
  • Addition of header schema for CGMES v3.0. More details on the release ReadMe.

• The structure of the Application Profiles library is updated to separate CGMES, NCP and DatasetMetadata application profiles, separating as well RDFS (vocabulary) and SHACL (constraints)to distinguish between current and past releases.

• The Application Profiles reflect now their open-source nature making reference to the Apache v2.0 license.

Previous release notes:

• The Application Profiles for the Network Code profiles release 2.3 and their patch release 2.3.1 were added.
• No content change for CGMES artifacts and previous versions of the Network Code profiles (2.1 and 2.2).
• The information structure was reviewed.
• Flat package structure purely thought for machine consumption.
• ReadMe spreadsheet included.
• ApplicationProfilesReadMe document included.
• Explains changes in naming of the artifacts.
• CGMES_Constraints_Repository spreadsheet included.
• List all complex SHACL constraints and explains they application purpose.
• Regeneration of RDFS and SHACL to adapt to the Network Code Profiles release 2.3.1 and Regional Coordination Processes release 2.3.1.
  • Added machine-readable description of the profiles following the W3C-DX-PROF recommendation.
