in the npmx PR i was specific that this belongs there rather than here because i knew the suggestion would be to put it here 😅 i'm not strongly opposed to it being here but no other consumer needs it right now. e.g. the CLI doesn't need to do this as we just narrow and handle each type. this right now is pretty much an npmx-only function. @dreyfus92 what do you think? |

exporting some utils would be cool, but in this case maybe the narrow is too simple to warrant a fn? |
