Quickstarts

If you just want to get spun up and working as quickly as possible you have two good approaches.

Pantheon

You can also follow the below steps on YouTube.

1. Sign up and/or login to your dashboard at getpantheon.com
2. Add a new site
3. Select the Panopoly distribution.
4. Make sure STFP mode is on (it should be by default)
5. Visit your new site in your favorite browser to install Panopoly. (may want to install panopoly demo for training purposes)
6. From the Appearances page click on "Install a new theme" and paste in a link the latest stable archive of Kalatheme.
7. Enable Kalatheme and set it to the default and admin theme
8. Clear your caches
9. On the Appearances page click on the "Setup Kalatheme" link
10. Complete the Setup webform
11. REJOICE

Kalabox

You can also follow the below steps on YouTube.

1. Download and install Kalabox from
2. Click on the green plus icon in the top right of the UI to create a new Panopoly site.
3. Click on the SSH button on your dashboard
4. Run cd /var/www/SITENAME // this will be what you inputted as your URL in Step 2.
5. Run drush dl kalatheme
6. Enable Kalatheme and set it as the default theme
7. Back on the command line run drush cc all
8. On the Appearances page click on the "Settings" link for Kalatheme
9. Complete the Settings
