A simple HTTP server for testing

Build from source

Clone this repo and run go build . then you should have a working gohang binary.

Build a Docker container

Did you want to run this in a Docker container?

This is currently published on Github Packages and you can docker run -p 5555:5555 ghcr.io/drincruz/gohang:latest.

If you wanted to build locally, simply run docker-compose build and then docker-compose up.

Running Tests

To run tests, you can just run go test ./...

Optional Port Setting

In the case where you want to have the server run on a different port, you can set the environment variable, GOHANG_PORT.

For example, running the following will have the server listen on port 5555.

Local go build

Docker Example
