since only DX related, nothing is broken with it, I will just merge... we might need to centralize or switch away from minio anyways |

Since 2026-09-24, pulling
quay.io/minio/miniorequires a login, sodocker compose upfails on any machine that doesn't already have the image cached. This switchesdocker-compose.ymltobitnamilegacy/minio:latest, whichbackend-ci.ymlandfrontend-ci.ymlalready use. It's the same change as dandi/dandi-cli#1927, plus a volume move:command/tty. The Bitnami image starts the server itself, using the sameMINIO_ROOT_USER/MINIO_ROOT_PASSWORD./bitnami/minio/data, where this image keeps its data. Existing dev volumes are not picked up there, so recreate the buckets, e.g. withdocker compose down -v.The "Test Integration with dandi-cli" job needs nothing here: dandi-cli 0.80.1 includes dandi/dandi-cli#1927.
Hosting our own copy of the image is tracked in dandi/dandi-infrastructure#289.
