Questions
- What does it mean to "Add credits" for someone's work?
- What images can I use?
- What do I need to include in my website Privacy Policy?

Most GitHub repos have a LICENSE
file; if not, it means it's private code that you can't use.
Moonrise uses the MIT License, which basically lets you do anything with my code for free, with attribution. It'd really help me out if you add a short blurb somewhere with a link back, like so:
[This website is made with Moonrise](https://github.com/coffeebank/moonrise)
Programmers spend time coding, and they share it for free to everyone. Do pay attention to licenses when you're looking at other peoples' code, or programmers do have the right to sue for intellectual property theft....
Do not steal images from Google, other websites, or other people.
HEAR TOM SCOTT SAY YOU CAN GET SUED FOR $$$$$.
Moonrise's demo website uses fully free images from https://unsplash.com. To find images that are fully and truly free, look for the words "royalty-free", "libre", or "free as in freedom".
Last I checked, Minecraft allows players to share screenshots of their creations. But I am not a lawyer, and this is not legal advice.
This usually varies. Moonrise was built to be a simple, read-only site. I am not a lawyer, and this is not legal advice. However, here are some things to consider:
- If you've enabled Google Analytics in Moonrise, you are required to note this in a Privacy Policy for your website, under your contract with Google.
- The Discord embed by Widgetbot contains proprietary trackers. There currently isn't a way to disable this in Moonrise yet, so it is recommended to note that Widgetbot tracks all visitors when they visit the homepage.
