I think "capitalize-first" should be enough, but you actually supposed to store sentence case values yourself:

.Additionally, I'm confused as to why terms "edition", "volume", and "page" are used, but not defined. For the "page" I assume

is used, but for volume...yeah it could translate to different things. Moreover, in the standard itself not always a capital letter is used for volume, which could be a typo, though also could mean that the uppercase is not mandatory, therefore thetext-case
part for "volume" can be dropped. But the majority of examples uses uppercase, so it's probably fine.
