Describe the bug

Currently I do not see the ad-hoc subprocess directly from the Creat/Append menu. But after I select an expanded or collapsed sub process later from the context pad change element I can choose ad-hoc sub process.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a new BPMN diagram
  2. Click on the create/append element Menu
  3. Try searching for ad-hoc sub process
  4. We could see that the task is not displayed
Screen.Recording.2025-01-27.at.13.41.04.mov

Expected behavior

Display create/append menu directly from the diagram tools section

Environment

  • OS: [ MacOS ]
  • Camunda Modeler Version: [5.32 rc-0]
  • Execution Platform: [ Camunda 8]

@philippfromme @jarekdanielak could you check if this is still an issue with the released version? Let's otherwise close this issue as won't fix and see if/when the glitch appears (again).

This is an actual bug, but it's present with the new context pad only which we missed.
