Initial Administrative Tasks

• Review repository settings, see documentation of workflow.
• Check that the CODEOWNERS file is valid (potential need to wait until initial codeowners have accepted the invitation)
• add the maintainers team to the appropriate parent team:
  • maintainers_independent-api-repositories for independent Sandbox API repos
  • Respective Sub Project maintainer team for Sub Project repos
• Update the README
  • choose the right badge (default: Sandbox)
  • choose the right variant for Independent Sandboxes,Sandboxes in Sub Project, Incubating, or repository for working group
  • check the wiki links for correctness
• Assign the initial issue for CODEWONERS to the appropriate codeowners

The link documentation of workflow is broken and gives an 404. The folder documentation does not exist in Project-Administration repo.

@tlohmar thanks for the hint - but you would anyway not able to do the checks without admin permissions. The repository is created, but not yet handed over to codeowners ... the issue here are administrative tasks which I need to do first.
