The install script was reworked in a following commit: NixOS/experimental-nix-installer@d028660

The previous command now fails with: sh: line 28: assemble_installer_templated_version: unbound variable

But there is no latest tag for some reason.

Currently only https://github.com/NixOS/experimental-nix-installer/releases/download/0.27.0/nix-installer.sh works.

I'm looking for feedback on that installer. Is it working? Are flakes enabled by default?

I've used the installer (on MacOS) and managed to install devenv without problems after. Flakes seems to be not enabled by default. There is nothing related to flakes in /etc/nix/nix.conf. I would expect it to contain experimental-features = nix-command flakes to have flakes enabled.
