I'm nervous about saying this works on the generic TYGWZ-01 board because I haven't tested that and although there are reports of some people getting that to work, there are also some reports that the password retrieval doesn't work for their non-Lidl TYGWZ-01 boards so a little more work to do before we can say that!

The obvious advantage of the original TYGWZ-01 (non-Lidl/Silvercrest) gateway is its availability outside of Europe.

Such wide availability should benefit all people and project whose goal it is to hack it for other purposes than its intended use.
