Summary

Fixed a typo in the job title on the homepage sidebar where "AI Solutios Architect" should be "AI Solutions Architect".

Background

A friend was browsing your website while looking at Merbench and noticed this typo. They mentioned it to me, and I thought I'd submit a quick PR to help out!

The Issue

The typo appears in src/layouts/BaseLayout.astro on line 97 in the desktop sidebar's tagline. Interestingly, the mobile version (line 152) has the correct spelling, and the JavaScript typewriter animation array (line 549) also has the correct spelling. This is why the typo only appears briefly on page load before the typewriter effect starts cycling through the titles - the hardcoded initial text has the typo, but the animation corrects it.

How to Reproduce

  1. Visit https://andrew.ginns.uk/ on desktop
  2. On initial page load, the tagline briefly shows "AI Solutios Architect"
  3. After ~1 second when the typewriter animation starts, it displays the correct "AI Solutions Architect" from the JavaScript array

Changes

  • Fixed the hardcoded tagline text from "AI Solutios Architect" to "AI Solutions Architect" in the desktop sidebar

Was going to tell you on Whatsapp but what's the point when I could just notify you via Clawdbot with a PR 😆

I guess it proves you wrote it yourself though - so maybe you want to keep it in!
