PR Description

PR to aggregate minor I3C fixes.
Shall not contain major changes, and does not require other pr to be merged first.
Should be kept minimal for a easy release.

  • I have set the verbosity level to none for the test program

At an I2C read transfer, the peripheral has no control over the number
of bytes transferred, and must comply with the controller's ACK
assertion.
