Clone repository somewhere:

$ git clone https://github.com/alexeiz/gentoo-ports.git /local/overlays/gentoo-ports

Create file /etc/portage/repos.conf/gentoo-ports.conf containing:

[gentoo-ports]
location = /local/overlays/gentoo-ports
auto-sync = no
priority = 10
