Radio Setup

Access via Settings → Radio Setup...

The Radio Setup dialog has 9 tabs matching SmartSDR's configuration interface.

Radio Tab

• Radio Information — Serial number, HW version, region, options, FlexControl/multiFLEX toggles
• Radio Identification — Model, nickname (editable), callsign (editable)
• Firmware Update — Check for updates, download, stage, and upload .ssdr firmware files (experimental)

Network Tab

• Network — IP address, subnet mask, MAC address
• Advanced — Enforce Private IP Connections toggle
• IP Configuration — DHCP/Static toggle with IP/mask/gateway fields

GPS Tab

• GPS installed/not installed status
• Latitude, longitude, grid square, altitude
• Tracked/visible satellites, speed, frequency error
• Status (Fine Lock, Coarse Lock, etc.), UTC time

Audio Tab

• Radio Audio Outputs — Line Out gain/mute, Headphone gain/mute, Front Speaker mute
• PC Audio Devices — Input/Output device selection with live switching

TX Tab

• Timing delays (ACC TX, TX Delay, Timeout)
• TX Profile dropdown
• Interlock polarity (RCA/ACC TX Req)
• Max power, tune mode, show TX in waterfall
• TX Band Settings button — per-band RF/Tune power, PTT inhibit, RCA/ACC interlock grid

Phone/CW Tab

• Microphone — BIAS, +20dB boost, level meter during receive
• PC Audio Input — device selector
• CW — Iambic A/B mode, paddle swap, CWU/CWL sideband, CWX sync
• Digital — RTTY Mark Default

RX Tab

• Frequency offset (GPSDO detection, manual ppb calibration)
• 10 MHz reference source (Auto/TCXO/GPSDO/External)
• Oscillator lock status
• Binaural audio, mute local when remote

Filters Tab

• Voice/CW/Digital filter sharpness sliders (Low Latency ↔ Sharp)
• Auto buttons for each
• Low latency digital modes checkbox

XVTR Tab

• Sub-tabs per configured transverter + "+" to create new
• All fields editable: name, RF/IF freq, LO error, RX gain, max power, RX only
• LO freq auto-calculated from RF - IF
• Remove button with immediate UI update

The XVTR band-stack key sent to the radio (e.g. band=X0, band=X1) uses the radio's status-object index, not the 1-based "setup order" field — fixed in v0.9.8 (#2342) for FLEX-8000-series firmware 4.2.x where the two values diverge by 1.

Peripherals Tab

Added in v0.9.4 for ShackSwitch antenna-switch integration.

• Auto-discovery of ShackSwitch devices on the local subnet via the Antenna Genius UDP broadcast on port 9007
• Manual IP entry for devices on different subnets
• Connect / Disconnect per device
• Status indicators (connected, hardware version, port count)

Once a device is connected, the ShackSwitch applet appears in the right-side applet panel.

Connection dialog options

The Connect-to-Radio dialog (Settings → Connect to Radio…) gained a "Connect to last radio on startup" opt-out checkbox in v0.9.4. Uncheck it if you want the dialog to appear at every launch instead of auto-connecting silently.
