Get started with Insight in just a few simple steps:

Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/XplnHUB/Insight-Py.git cd Insight-Py -
Create and activate a virtual environment:
- macOS / Linux:
python3 -m venv venv source venv/bin/activate - Windows:
python3 -m venv venv venv\Scripts\activate
- macOS / Linux:

Install the CLI tool:
pip install insight-cli-sarang

Set your Google API Key:
export GOOGLE_API_KEY="your-api-key"
For persistence, add this line to your shell profile (
~/.bashrc,~/.zshrc, etc.).
To analyze your project, simply run the following command in your project's root directory:
insight-cli .The analysis report will be saved as insight_report.md.
--help: Show all available options.--output custom.md: Specify a custom output filename.--exclude "*.test.js": Exclude specific files from the analysis.--verbose: Enable detailed logging.
Insight-Py supports over 30 file types, including:
