no the older way is the way that was giving issues i dont think i updated the 1pc board but i might have just not updated the silkscreen the 2pc one is the correct one even if the silkscreen is incorrect , i could update the silkscreen and push a new version

I produced both(1PC and 2PC)
when I replacing it
I had to swap the pins of extruded motor cable for it to work
the better way is use same sch file to design and check to got best compatibility
