Governance Veto & Lock-Up Periods Implementation

Issues Addressed

Summary

This implementation adds two major security and compliance features to the vesting vault system:

1. Governance Veto System (Issue #212)

  • 5% Threshold Detection: Automatically detects beneficiary reassignments involving >5% of total token supply
  • 7-Day Mandatory Timelock: Extended timelock period for large reassignments
  • DAO Voting Mechanism: Token holders can veto suspicious reassignments during the timelock period
  • Dual Timelock System: 48 hours for small reassignments, 7 days for large ones
  • Configurable Threshold: Admin can adjust the veto threshold percentage

2. Lock-Up Periods System (Issue #211)

  • Wrapped Token Contract: Separate contract for managing locked tokens
  • Configurable Lock-Up Durations: Per-vesting-schedule lock-up periods
  • Automatic Unwrapping: Users can unwrap tokens after lock-up expiry
  • Transfer Restrictions: Wrapped tokens cannot be transferred during lock-up
  • Integration: Seamlessly integrates with existing claim flow

3. Beneficiary Reassignment (Issue #114)

  • Secure Transfer System: Safe beneficiary reassignment with proper authentication
  • Governance Integration: Works with the veto system for large transfers
  • Audit Trail: Complete tracking of all reassignment attempts
