PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The CBIT Management Information System is a dynamic, responsive platform designed to provide a comprehensive overview of a college's infrastructural assets. It allows management to access and analyze data across various categories, including classrooms, laboratories, seminar halls, and washrooms, with options to download reports as Excel or PDF files. Administrators benefit from features like secure login, bulk data upload via Excel templates, and easy data management. Additionally, it offers detailed views of library and sports facilities, enhancing resource transparency and management efficiency.

USER FEATURES

1. Category-Based Data Access:

   • Management can select and view data based on various categories such as Blocks, Departments, Classrooms, Laboratories, Seminar Halls, and Washrooms.
   • Categories can be chosen individually or in any combination to customize the data view.
   • The displayed data can be downloaded as an Excel or PDF file, complete with the college header.

2. Block-Specific Data:

   • Each block's individual data can be accessed based on selected categories like Classrooms, Laboratories, Seminar Halls, and Washrooms.
   • Similar to the overall view, this data can also be downloaded as an Excel or PDF file with the college header.

3. Library and Sports Facilities Pages:

   • These pages are dynamically designed to showcase all available resources in the library and sports facilities within the college.

4. Authentication and Security:

   • Administrators can log in via a secure authentication page.
   • The "Forgot Password" feature allows administrators to reset their passwords.

ADMINISTRATOR FEATURES

1. Bulk Upload via Excel Templates:

   • Excel templates are provided for bulk data uploads based on the selected categories.
   • Administrators can download these templates, fill in the data, and upload them on the bulk upload page.
   • The uploaded data is automatically retrieved and sorted into the respective block and category.

2. Data Management:

   • In the Admin Blocks section, administrators can update, modify, and delete existing data entries for any block and category.

3. User Profile and Logout:

   • The logout feature is conveniently located at the top-right corner under the user profile for easy access.
