Releases: Unleash/unleash
v6.5.0
New features
Personal dashboard
We’ve introduced personal dashboards in the Unleash Admin UI to help optimize your workflow with quick access to the resources and data you need.
In the My projects section, you can find an overview of the projects you own, are a member of, or have favorited. You can gain insights into each project’s health and stay updated on the latest events. For newly created projects, an onboarding flow guides you through setting up your first feature flag and connecting your first SDK.
The My Feature Flags section offers a focused view of the feature flags you have created or favorited, including exposure metrics, last usage data, and lifecycle stages.
Project onboarding
Our new project onboarding experience simplifies getting started with Unleash. The onboarding flow provides step-by-step instructions for creating your first feature flag and connecting an SDK.
You can select your preferred programming language to receive help with SDK installation and running Unleash. The onboarding flow also provides quick access to our comprehensive set of SDK examples available on GitHub or CodeSandbox.

New features
Event Timeline
The new Event Timeline feature brings a unified view of recent events across all your projects, designed to help you get an overview of changes and quickly identify and debug any issues.
The timeline highlights key events and signals from the past 48 hours per environment. You can adjust the timeframe to narrow in on recent activity when needed.
Find the Event Timeline in the Admin UI’s top menu, where you can easily enable or disable it based on your preferences.

v6.3.0
New features
Archive projects
You can now archive projects to hide them while retaining their historical data. Archiving is particularly useful for managing short-lived projects, such as those related to specific initiatives in your organization.
Before archiving a project, you must archive all its feature flags. Archived projects, like archived feature flags, can be revived at any time. For more information, visit our documentation.
Improved search and filtering for events
We've extended the search and filtering capabilities in Event log, making it easier to track changes in Unleash. You can now filter events by date range, type, project, feature flag, and user. You can also export events as CSV or JSON files.
Project lists improvements
We've enhanced the Projects list page for a clearer project overview. You can now sort projects by name, date created, last updated, and last usage. Each project card also shows when it was last updated and when metrics were last reported.

New features
Soft limits
Unleash now includes soft limits for key resources to ensure platform stability and encourage best practices. Self-hosted OSS and Enterprise users can override these limits. We’ve set custom limits for hosted customers who currently exceed the limits to prevent disruptions in daily operations. You can reach out to your Unleash contact to increase limits at no extra cost.
When you approach a limit—starting at 80% usage—the Admin UI shows how close you are to the limit when creating new resources.
The documentation contains information on all the limits and details on how to override them. You can view your current resource counts on the Instance stats page.
Command menu
The Command menu enables quick access to recently visited pages and provides search functionality across feature flags, projects, and pages, improving workflow efficiency.
Improve create flag flow
We’ve redesigned the Create feature flag flow to make it simpler and faster to create flags. This ensures a consistent experience when creating resources in Unleash.
Change request preview
Enterprise users can now preview and test the results of change requests in a playground environment before the changes are approved or applied.
Minor changes
Feature flag collaborators
To enhance collaboration, we’ve updated the feature flag overview to display who made the most recent change to a flag and show recent collaborators.
What's new in Unleash
A new widget highlights recently added beta features and other new capabilities available in Unleash.
Integration page displaying last events
Administrators can now view the latest integration events directly on the Integrations page.
Each integration card features a status icon displaying the result of the most recent event, with more details available on hover. You can view recent events by selecting View events from the action menu. Selecting an event shows detailed information, including execution results, underlying Unleash events, and integration-specific data.
Event search authorization
Previously, all global events were accessible via the API. Now, only root admins can view global events, while other users have access to project-specific events only.
Insights
The Insights page has received minor improvements. We’ve added the ability to select date range, reorganized the charts and ensured that the data in the left-side widgets is synchronized with the charts.
