precisions with the lower-precision expected values in the test suite.

cmp_deeply, together with the utility function "fnum" are used to compare higher-precision actual results with lower-precision expected results. This more generalized approach replaces previous ad-hoc approaches such as comp_float_array and cmp_float_matrix.
