Closing: httpx and pydantic are runtime dependencies of the Python SDK, a library, so the floor in pyproject.toml is the oldest version it supports rather than the newest release. Raising it would only stop users from installing versions the SDK still works with: its 375 tests pass at the current floors (httpx 0.27.0, pydantic 2.6.0) on Python 3.10 and 3.11. #35 switches the pip entry to versioning-strategy: increase-if-necessary, so Dependabot proposes a change only when a release falls outside the range. |
