Moar types:

One thing I noticed: instrument-expansion currently points to Wikidata Q19841649, which appears to mean an expansion of a building or structure, so I don't think this is the intended concept. OBI_0000968 (device) could perhaps be used as a generic equipment/device type instead.

Also, I would probably avoid using reagent as a generic entity type. In OBI, OBI_0000086 represents a reagent role: e.g. sodium chloride is fundamentally a chemical entity which can have the role of a reagent in a particular context.

Also, why don't you make a branch from the main repo instead of your fork? It's easier to not have to deal with a fork.

Because I made a mistake. Sorry, final version will be correct

I hope I did not open a box of pandora with this attempt to unify scientific definitions. Already now we have similar terms experiment vs measurement with different urls,... Luckily we do not have a pressure to finish it soon.

If anybody wants this job and speed things up,...In the meantime, I can move this forward slowly.

One idea is to reach out to research stewarts, they might have entries, too

Also we should state the goals:

  • we can have alternative definitions (measurement and experiment) with one URL.
  • different terms have to be sufficiently different for "half of scientists"

What we basically aim for is a complete ontology of scientific terms for elns
