Overview

CourseIntelligence aggregates student course discussions from Reddit, merges them with official university course catalogs, and uses AI to provide clear, actionable insights for students selecting courses.


🛠 Key Features

  • Scraped ~250,000 words of Reddit course-related discussions across multiple subreddits
  • Processed data into bronze / silver / gold tiers to separate raw, cleaned, and curated information
  • Optimized LLM queries on gold-tier data for reliability and insight extraction
  • Built with Python, Databricks dashboards, Reddit API, JSON pipelines

  • Built an end-to-end data pipeline under time constraints
  • Managed noisy/unstructured data, rate limits, and model performance
  • Delivered a working backend + dashboard demo that got 1st place
