A Humble Request, can you rethink The entire UI?

can you rethink the entire UI, like a more modern type one? am mostly using this for video recording.

1. Video recording timer is overlapped with shutter button.
2. notification recording button is left side oriented, which makes unable to use it by single/right hand
3. if there is a zoomIN / zoomOUT speed controller is there, it will be very good.
4. zoomIN / zoomOUT buttons should be larger and big, so that will be more flexible without looking the phone.

we will be very happy, if you redesigned Entire UI into a more professional one....

Let me first clarify that this is a project I created in my spare time after family, my actual day job and a bunch of other hobbies. It is the very definition of not professional and pretty much as professional as it will get. (And I think I still beat Imaging Edge.)

The main goal was the customizable buttons in the notification area as a quick way to have a remote trigger available as soon as the camera is turned on. Everything else is an afterthought and will mostly see minor improvements if they can be done quickly. (However, it is an open source project, so anyone can add to it.)

Now, for your requests:

1. Could you send a screenshot? This is indeed a part of the fixed remote that can be a bit tricky as this has to work with any orientation, screen size, app size (split view modes), UI scale system setting and font size system setting. (Or are we talking about the notification area?)
2. Hm... At the very left end are the status icons and then there are the custom buttons. I have to check if I can align those to the right. This is not part of a regular UI with code that can calculate positions and control certain conditions. The notification area is not directly controlled by apps, but apps have to send a simplified UI layout to the system and then the app gets callbacks when the sytem registers a button press. (That's also why it is not possible to create buttons that are held or long-pressed in that area. The notification area is designed for unified interfaces (media players) or simple progress interfaces and somewhat limited.)
   So, I have to check if I can offer a right-aligned layout while handling the case of buttons overflowing to the right (and being left aligned from that moment on).
   In any case, as a workaround, I would recommend adding buttons or increasing the size until the record button is at the right end for your system. (If in doubt, just flood it with record buttons or make them gigantic.)
3. I would appreciate feedback on those speeds. For custom buttons you can change the speed that is part of the remote control protocol, but I have no idea what is the default and which values make sense for different cameras and lenses. My kit lens is the only power zoom I own. If you could set up those buttons with different speeds and a press duration of a second and give me an idea how far it went (in percent of your entire zoom range) I could think about making the zoom depend on where you press in the UI.
4. Not seeing that one at the moment as I do not have a good idea for a better layout of the remote that works for every use case, every device, every orientation, every system scale setting, every font setting, ... (You get the idea.)
