increase php version requirement to php 8.1

Hello @bfeaver, could you have a look at this please? This is needed to not have deprecation errors in PHP 8.4. Sadly this breaks backwards compatibility with PHP < 8.1, but support for 7.4 ended 2.5 years ago, support for 8.0 1.5 years ago |
