The team re-branded during the 2016 - 2017 school year when the NASA Sample Return Challenge was discontinued. This was when the team decided to start pursuing the University Rover Challenge and adopted the current team organizational structure. The following is a list of mechanical subteam leads that have been in position since 2016. In the future, maybe even full member lists will be composed for the team each year.
