Vagrant-based Redis lab
It is a work in progress yet. This automation is built around Vagrant and Virtualbox for home labs, but it will also be usable for manual installations. Considering that most of the customers we have are running RHEL, this tool kit is stuck to CentOS8s at the moment. For a Vagrant Box you may consider something like https://www.ebay.com/itm/286036722832. Some extra RAM + HDD and you are good to go.
- If installing to manually created hosts, make sure you have the following installed (might be ambigious though):
yum install -y screen iproute-tc jq htop python3-policycoreutils policycoreutils-python-utils boost-program-options cyrus-sasl checkpolicy python3-audit cyrus-sasl-plain cyrus-sasl-md5 python3-setools python3-libsemanage
- Make a copy of either of RC* files (RC1 defaults to 3 node, RC2 - 5) and fill it. Run INIT.sh to initiate the env.
#./INIT.sh RC1RH8
node_names:rc1-rh8-node1 rc1-rh8-node2 rc1-rh8-node3
node_ips: 192.168.69.101 192.168.69.102 192.168.69.103
This is the temporary folder for all environment stuff. Do not modify anything here.
