The legacy IT/MIDI detour had no final repair/handoff ledger or executable closeout check after PR #89. This change adds that final implementation step and documents the return to the pending Sampler PS1 E-D3/E-C3 paired witness.

  • Record five scoped donor repairs and four unresolved boundaries with references and narrow next actions.
  • Validate the closeout ledger and preserve the exact compatibility matrix and private-input manifest identities.
  • Revalidate complete downloaded historical/MIDI summary artifacts through the existing lane component validators; reject edited summaries, missing/hash-mismatched support, symlinks and raw private payloads.
  • Bind historical candidate execution and summary validation to the frozen baseline, exact workflow repository revision, retained ELF, clean-rebuild attestation and pinned dependencies, using the existing MIDI attestation contract. Old unattested artifacts cannot satisfy closeout.
  • Run the controls in the maintained legacy CI workflow, cover their inputs in both path filters, and upload a closeout handoff report.
  • Align the README, working roadmap, main roadmap and parity report around the same observation-gate ordering.

This is the intended v0.2.0 implementation checkpoint. The private SickMaate and six-set MIDI observations remain pending manual dispatch with their existing masked URL secrets. Summary-component integrity does not automatically clear the priority hold or establish original execution. The closeout report stays UNKNOWN and awaits outcome review. No engine source, frozen input, matrix verdict, tag or release is changed.

Validation: IT fixture/import contract, historical contract, MIDI corpus contract and closeout controls pass locally, including stale/substituted historical candidate and missing-attestation controls; all 23 parity-report tests pass; matrix validator reports 20 contracts (3 PASS, 1 MISSING, 1 DIFFERENT, 15 UNKNOWN); parity-report validator and git diff --check pass. Native donor/candidate/original jobs run in GitHub CI. The private real-corpus workflows were not dispatched.

Reviewer's Guide

Closes out the Phase 6C legacy IT/MIDI detour as a v0.2.0 implementation checkpoint by recording donor repairs and scoped handoffs, adding strict ledger and private-artifact validation, and integrating the controls into CI without changing matrix verdicts, engine sources, or pending observation gates.
