This repository provides a centralized portal for submitting Burp Suite extensions to the BApp Store. All submissions are tracked in a GitHub project for visibility and managed through our review queue.
The BApp Store Extension Submission Portal streamlines the process of submitting new extensions and updates to the BApp Store. When you submit through this portal, your extension is automatically added to our submission queue and tracked throughout the review process.
To submit a new extension to the BApp Store:
- Navigate to the Issues tab
- Click New Issue
- Select New extension submission
- Fill out the required information:
- Extension name (as the issue title)
- Extension URL (GitHub repository link)
- Version number
- Author name
- Contact details
- Confirmation checkboxes
- Extension overview, key features, and usage instructions
Your submission will be added to the review queue and tracked in our Extension submissions GitHub project.
Before submitting, ensure your extension meets the BApp Store acceptance criteria.
To submit an update for an existing extension on the BApp Store:
- Navigate to the Issues tab
- Click New Issue
- Select Update for existing extension
- Fill out the required information:
- Extension name (as the issue title)
- Pull request URL
- Version number
- Author name (if changed)
- Contact details
- Update summary
Note: Updates are accepted from the parent repository of the PortSwigger fork.
Before submitting your extension, please ensure:
- You have permission from all relevant persons to submit this extension to the BApp Store for public use, under the terms and conditions of the EULA
- You have read and understood the submission requirements for the BApp Store
All submissions are tracked in our Extension submissions GitHub project where you can monitor the status of your submission through the review process.
If feedback is provided that requires changes to your extension, the issue will be closed. Once you have implemented the required feedback, you can reopen the issue ticket to have your extension reviewed again.
To reopen your issue: Simply comment /reopen on the closed issue. As the original issue creator, this will automatically reopen your submission for review.
