Enabling Presets

How it works

Whether a preset is enabled depends on the settings inside of it, not your world settings or world type. Preset fields will be discussed on a future page.

Using commands

The simplest way to start enabling presets is to run a command. There are multiple commands for doing this, which will also be discussed on a future page.

For now, you should run /cave list, which will display every preset in your presets folder. You can click the ENABLE button beside any preset to enable it. It will be active immediately and affect all future-generated chunks.

You should be aware that each preset will run its own generators. This means that more presets equals more caves. I recommend starting with only one at a time. If you enable all of the presets simultaneously, there may be too many caves underground and you will incur an unnecessary performance penalty.
