PeaceMaker building agents in a bright pixel workshop

Building agent systems Learning in public

Hi, I'm PeaceMaker

My focus is agent development: building systems that can plan, use tools, remember context, verify outcomes, and reliably turn intent into action.

I'm a contributor to ByteDance's DeerFlow, where I continue to improve real-world agent infrastructure through practical, production-minded contributions.

What I'm Exploring

Agent Loops

Planning, execution, reflection, evaluation, and the engineering that keeps the loop reliable.

Real Tools

Connecting agents to APIs, data, workflows, and useful actions beyond the chat box.

Useful Memory

RAG, retrieval, context design, and remembering the right things at the right moment.

Open-source work

In 2026, I've landed 6 merged pull requests across two GitHub accounts in open-source repositories I don't own. Recent work spans frontend performance, authorization safety, skill installation, provider configuration, event-history integrity, and desktop reliability.

Agent infrastructure, authorization safety, skill delivery, frontend performance, provider configuration, and reliable history attribution.

5 merged pull requests to DeerFlow

Desktop reliability and interface cleanup, including the removal of stale timestamp artifacts.

The Big Vision

Agent systems should become simpler when they can and better when they must.

  1. Adaptive simplification — Enable complex agent systems to automatically remove unnecessary components and reduce themselves to what each scenario truly requires.
  2. Self-evolution — Design agents that autonomously discover opportunities for improvement, implement their own upgrades, and verify that each change actually works.

The goal is not complexity for its own sake, but agents that continuously become more focused, capable, and reliable.

Keep it useful. Keep it verifiable. Keep building.
