Version 7.01

Added "Safety Blink" functionality. Two Settings, "SAFETYBLINK" and "SAFETYBLINK_ALT" are provided, along with customized settings on the AA_UserConfig tab, to define a series of blinks (number and frequency) that will alternate with each other. Can be used to recreate the effect seen on emergency vehicles, for example, three blinks on one side of the car followed by three on the other side, alternating back and forth.

Version 6.01

Add alternate versions of blink and fast blink, called BLINK_ALT and FASTBLINK_ALT. These will blink at the same defined rate as their existing counterparts, but in an alternating fashion. For example, when a FASTBLINK light is on, the FASTBLINK_ALT light will be off, and vice-versa.

Version 5.03

Certain light settings might not be restored after loss of radio signal, this has been corrected.

Version 5.02

Here we correct the case where we start a light blinking that was previously in the dim state. Instead of blinking between off and on states, we will blink between dim and on states. Note, this does not apply to SoftBlink, which still functions between off and on.

Version 5.01

Complete rewrite. Interrupt-based radio reading, asynchronous light settings, simplified user configuration, shelf queen mode, integrated libraries.

Version 4.01

  • We have added new State called "No Turn." Settings applied under this state will be activated when the steering channel is at neutral ("no turn", or no steering). The purpose of this is actually to allow the steering channel to be re-purposed as a second 3-position switch for those that may prefer to have that. The 3 positions of this switch will therefore be "Left Turn," "No Turn," and "Right Turn." Instead of attaching your steering channel to the steering input on the OSL board, attach some other channel that is controlled by a 3 position switch on your transmitter.
  • Fixed the dim backfire light problem that was introduced in v3.01
  • Allow the steering channel and channel 3 to be detected even after bootup, this should hopefully avoid some problems with newer receivers.

Version 3.02

Change to be a bit less sensitive on radio failsafe, we now need to miss 4 sequential radio reads before entering failsafe mode. This will in effect allow us to ignore single-event random glitches.

See this post for more information.

Version 3.01

Changes by RCGroups user Wombii, see this post for more information.

  • Light settings are now updated incrementally instead of their prior blocking update method. Turn signals for example will now operate in sync instead of sequentially.
  • Increased the speed of the receiver read function by alternating between channels each read.

Version 2.24

18 Oct 00:14

Fix bug that affects channel 3 position 5 when channel 3 is reversed.

Version 2.23

Better handling of immediate direction changes in cases where the user has enabled it.
