This repository contains a comprehensive dataset of Tamil news posts curated from various reputed Instagram news accounts, including news18tamilnadu, news7tamil, polimernews, puthiyathalaimurai, and sunnews. The dataset spans news items from the years 2022 to 2024, comprising approximately 92,000 documents.
This dataset was collected using Instagram's public API. The data belongs to Instagram and the respective news organizations. As such, the dataset is provided solely for academic and research purposes, and you should comply with Instagram’s terms of service when using it. Redistribution of the raw data is not permitted unless explicitly allowed by Instagram.
