Internal review PR — staged for upstream PR to projnanda/list-39 after approval.

Change

Adds a standard MIT LICENSE file. The README states MIT License - see LICENSE file for details. and package.json declares "license": "MIT", but the LICENSE file is missing.

  • Copyright holder: Project NANDA
  • Year: 2025

⚠️ Do not merge this internal PR

The same branch will be the head of the upstream PR Nexartis:chore/add-mit-licenseprojnanda:main. Merging here would diverge our fork from upstream until upstream merges.

After upstream merges

git fetch upstream main && git merge upstream/main into our main, then close this PR.

Pull Request opened by Augment Code with guidance from the PR author

The project already declares MIT licensing in README/setup.py/package.json,
but no LICENSE file exists in the repository. This adds the standard MIT
LICENSE text so the licensing is clear in the repository root and detected
by GitHub, npm, PyPI, and other tooling.
