.NET Micro Framework v4.4 Release To Web (RTW)

This is the first full release from GitHub, including many contributions from the community - Thanks to all who have contributed!

Major highlights for this release:

• stabilized networking support
• improved debugging stability and performance
• Modern CPU reference implementation
• UWP "inspired" classes for greater compatibility with desktop (As close as we can get within constraints of the NETMF runtime)
• Bug fixes

NOTE:
With this release we are no longer supporting the VS Express SKUs. Maintaining the special package Load-Key and related support to submit that to the gallery is just a lot of work.With the free availability of the Community Edition supporting the express SKUs isn't really needed anymore. In addition, we are only including support for Visual Studio 2015 at this time. If you have a need for earlier VS release let us know by submitting feedback in the issues section of github

.NET Micro Framework Cryptographic Libraries

Legacy cryptographic libraries for .NET Micro Framework.

These libraries provide crypto graphics support for firmware updates via the MFDeploy tool and TinyBooter.

Installation

1. Download the provided in the downloads section of this page
2. Double click on the MSI to begin installation
3. When prompted for an install location you should select the root of your local repository.

NOTE:
Since the MSI will only allow installing to one place, if you need or want to maintain multiple NETMF based repositories you can simply copy the contents of the crypto folder between repositories.

Please note:
The link for source files below is generated automatically from GitHub for the current dev branch at the time of this release. That is the source zip and tar files contain the same code as in the repository itself but not the source of the crypto libraries. Due to current Microsoft policies regarding cryptographic libraries this is a binary only release.
